Samina Siraj is an antidisciplinary artist, educator, and researcher based between Lenapehoking and Köln. Her practice is concerned with the symbiotic relationships forged in liminal spaces between the human and more-than-human worlds. Through materially-focused, research-driven, and long-term projects, she explores current planetary urgencies and experiments with speculative imaginaries. Siraj presents these ideas through sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, and video.  Drawing from decolonial epistemologies, ecological memory, and ancestral inheritances, her evolving body of work is a dialectic with past and present, where the living encounter the specters of the dead.
